You know what you should do? Take a long weekend and load up the tools, ride over to the Hillbilly and do a “Garage Squad” with Captain Redbeard. Iron sharpens iron.

There’s this young kid, 22, who was doing loads of dumb stuff (not stupid, so there’s hope). He rides a crotch rocket and does all kinds of idiotic things on public roads. Got himself a DUI and that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

I invited him out for a beer at the pub. Little Brother was there. And there were 2 older guys there, Mohawk and Gunny. Mohawk is a 50 year trucker who could no longer pass a physical and Gunny is your old, tougher than hell retired Marine gunnery sergeant. Tough old B@$Tards.

The young kid sat there in awe. You could tell that it was the first time in his life that he sat down at a table and broke bread with Men. No one talked down to him, no disrespect of any sort…even though he rode in on a sport bike that’s showing cords on the rear tire. Good times. I am actually glad he had a good time.

    Iron sharpens Iron.

I had hoped that this morning would bring good news. That is not the case. Her temp is sky high again so she is back in the ice bath. As I have said before, when she gets in the ice, her arthritis pain increases dramatically where if she had to get out of the ice, I don't think she could. Thankfully they have a lift to help her out of the tub.

She hasn't been able to keep anything down, but there isn't anything she really wants to eat either.

Last nights blood work shows that they antibiotic needs to be changed ASAP. It will be here sometime after noon. We are praying that it will turn all of this around.

Next course of action is for her to get some quality sleep. At least 6 hours.

Just a few things for her to do before turning the corner.

    More this evening.

Been busy lately. Haven't hauled a load since March. Between trying to get long overdue stuff around the house caught up and working on our new to us car, I've been too wore out to put the hip waders on that have been required around here lately.
