Every point you hit is so spot on dude. I just recently got outta my relationship and it is so true. The work day was over and I’d dread going home to a mess. Anytime my phone rang and it was her my first thought was “oh god now what”. And I was usually right. And it usually involved her quitting/being let go from whatever job she had because they actually expected her to work. I come home now and it’s all me time, all the time. I cook what I want, I watch tv that isn’t a signing competition or “reality” tv with 2 or more chicks arguing, I use the bathroom with the door wide open. Hell I could even lay out the tarp, light some candles, put on some jazz and get weird on PornHub. It does not suck! Glad you’re doing good buddy, I always look forward to your posts.

Haha I know buddy! And the best part is that is just weekend one! It only gets better. First meal I had out of the drama, I swear food even tasted better. I often wonder why I stuck around so long.

I won’t turn your thread into a major #####ing session, but I will vent a little. I guess I kept thinkin it was going to get better. I’m 35 years old and it amazes me how most women my age don’t want to work, don’t want to do anything around the house, and want to act like they’re 20. If they don’t wanna work, but want to do the household chores, fine. If they have a job and want to split the household chores great. But no job, and then watching tv and scrolling Facebook all day ain’t going to cut it. I mean contribute something. If I’m gonna do everything anyway, I’ll just do it by myself with 100% less drama. I can’t remember the last time I yelled at myself for leaving the toilet seat up. My favorite part was when all her friends would come over and talk about how “they don’t need a man” and how “strong and independent” they were. Right. That’s why all of you are piss drunk at the pool on a Tuesday, while your live-in boyfriends are roofing in Kansas. In July.
