the other trucker "should be" charged for the wreck. i guess "pull over laws" are just ignored for anything on the side of the road, not just emergency vehicles.

 

Frankly I think there should start being jail time for this crap… There is utterly no excuse whatsoever not to either slow down or get over or both… I don’t think the situation is getting out of hand I think it’s already way out of hand and needs to be dealt with swiftly…

 

Back when you had to be able to drive a truck before you could be a truck driver that didn’t happen so much. All they’d have to do to fix that is start building ‘95 models again. Then the trucks themselves would send most of the problem back to McDonalds like they used to.

 

I agree. But the driver in NJ that killed all 16 people in the back of his limousine
That had been places out of service 4 times by the state , two years ago got no jail time .
His father was a snitch for the FBI so they got off Scott free .

are they allowed to get thier CDL back? or permanently banned for LIFE from ever getting one here in the USA, and all across the globe.>?? (so that they don't leave, obtain a CDL in another country and come back wanting an American job/CDL)

i say a permanent ban from all over the globe.

I Can’t believe none of the family members of the people he killed haven’t paid him a little visit.

 

If it's the incident I'm thinking of, the actual driver died too, it was the owner that let it go and needs to be held responsible. 17 passengers, driver, and 2 bystanders were killed.
