I don't know even what to say. To get 60mph average in the west it should be around 65 constant speed and loaded less than max.

As scott and I talked about before, 50 mph or there is industry average.

So, if the company says you do 60mph in a governed 64 fully loaded trailer plus threaten your job if you don't accept the load that is OK?

    And legal?

You don't think the dispatch is responsible?

Where is this written as the Gospel? I can average that with a pair of slip on boots and a can do attitude.

Yes, it's okay. Set the cruise at 64, and let the chips fall where they may. Dispatcher isn't your boss. If it becomes a problem, go over his head.

Yes. Yes. Responsible for what? They have a job and so does the driver...get the freight delivered.

Anything going east coast...picking up late with impossible time. One time believe it or not I had a trip 72mph.

So, thinking to myself is this one of the reasons for pileup and accidents?

Why aren't dispatchers and planners held accountable? Talk about trip planning.

It's the driver's choice to speed, tailgate, and play on their phone.

Run the load, communicate effectively, do your part as driver to maintain efficiency and these problems work themselves out.

I have yet to be threatened in this industry.

If you have experienced this problem at two companies then the issue is you.

That's not true. I disagree with you.
