Austin has been a #### hole since the 80s. It might have been worth going in on a Friday/Saturday night for live music, but the "keep Austin weird" people got what they wanted. Most Texans don't claim Austin or Houston.

What a day. The shipper F/U the second stops order so that took a mere 5 hours.
1 Hour of DETENTION ( always moist and delicious )
SO
This puts us squarely behind the 8 ball not for pick up, was a D&H, but for delivery.
To complicate matters never considered THE BLITZ.
And accordingly the nice trailer we dropped has now been replaced by one that's 10 years old, and has one of the front marker lights out.
SO
The truck has stopped at an indigenous Love's with a current 5 hour wait.
The OM is not pleased.homeskillet, Oxbow, JoeyJunk and 12 others Thank this. -
Through a miracle of modern truck driving we still might make our drops on time, now taking our 10, and probably getting a very restful 45 minutes sleep sometime before we leave.
There is chicken. And there is coffee. The OM is pleased about that.homeskillet, Oxbow, JoeyJunk and 11 others Thank this. -

Got a new oil pressure sensor for blue bird. Since my oil pressure gauge was going bonkers and noticed some oil dripping off the sensor. Im glad i have small hands, they tucked that frickin sensor way back in there so hard to get to. And those electrical plugs never like to come off easy. Then i had to get the sensor off with the impact it was so tight.. There is an oring on it , why so tight? It was painted red so i take it that its the original sensor from the factory. 7 years old. Not bad.
Finished up the ramps on the back of the frame. Got ramps and frame drilled and bolted together. Only used a couple drill bits. But started small. 1/4 to 5/16 to 1/2 inch. Ran the drill nice and slow and some gear oil to lubricate and was able to get thru fairly easily. Gonna bend the excess metal off the back with a torch. But that will have to wait until tmrw. Its to hot now.. Time for beer.homeskillet, dwells40, Oxbow and 12 others Thank this. -
