I'll say it...
Any of the Marvel Movies. If you have Disney+, you got like 60 hours of movies just off those alone. 24 movies and counting I think it is...add in the spin off shows and you got even more! There's a ton of good movies on Disney+ that you wouldn't think would be there. Especially since adding the ability to watch stuff that has cussing/adult themes aka not kid friendly. They recently added the old Netflix Marvel shows which are much more "adult" then you would expect from Disney.
If your a Star Wars fan, the Mandalorian, & Book of Boba Fett are enjoyable shows. Not movies, but still enjoyable. I'm not the biggest SW fan, but I did grow up with the originals. Both of those shows...are set right around the end of Return of the Jedi.
If Star Trek is your thing you can use either Amazon Video, or Paramount I think it is. They have all the old shows, and movies. Plus the new stuff, which is actually pretty good. I'm what you call an every now an then fan of Star Trek. So I'm not being bias by saying some of the newer shows aren't bad. They actually tie in Spock, Capt. Kirk, etc. If your a fan of the older series, you'll like the way they tie in old characters and stories.
Godfather 1 and 2 are covered. I'd agree with not watching 3, unless you've never seen it. Then watch it and you'll understand why us fans of the first 2 try to act like it was never made.An the first 2 are freaking awesome. 2 of my favorite movies of all time.
If you like documentaries, the ones below are all by Ken Burns
Suggested...
Civil War
WW2
Baseball
Ali
Country Music - Even if you don't like country music, it's a good show. Goes from the start to roughly...1980s. Lots of good stuff on Hank Sr, Cash, and many, many others. I enjoyed it a lot more then I thought I would.
American West
Jazz
They all range from 4 to like 10 episodes I think, and run about 120 mins each episode. They also flow pretty good. I never got bored watching any of the ones I listed. You can sometimes watch them for free on Amazon Prime Video, or pay the 5 bucks a month to watch via PBS's app.
Other movies..that I've enjoyed..
Shrek 1 & 2
Cars
American Gangster
Training Day
Colors
Boyz N the Hood
Die Hard - All of them
Avatar
Magnificent 7. I prefer the old one. The recent one isn't bad, but it's also..not great.
National Treasure 1 & 2. I liked 2 better.
Police Academy - all 6.
Big Trouble in Little China
Indiana Jones
Robocop
Demolition Man
Howard the duck - Oh it's far from great, but it's something you just have to see if you haven't.
Independence Day - Only the first 1. Second one straight sucked.
MIB - 1 and 2. Ignore 3.
Bad Boys
Get Hard - Kevin Hart and Will Farrell
Ride Along 1 & 2 - Kevin Hart and Ice Cube
Expendables - Not a good movie, but kinda cool seeing all the old 80s & 90s action stars in one movie.
Big
Hunt for Red October
Clear and Present Danger
If it keeps my attention I watch it. If it doesn't...I don't.
Disclaimer : Your mileage may vary when it comes to enjoying the above.
