Take it off and mail it back to him with a sincere letter. He’d appreciate that

I think he meant to give it to the original owner as a keepsake.

But I had a guy I’ve known for a few years try and get me to snatch some parts off some humvee I hauled awhile back and I was like no way dude. Even though they were going to scrap I want about to risk anything so he wouldn’t have to buy a part for his.

On another note how are you liking running that trailer? Finding good loads etc?

Skid steers to narrow to load on this trailer. Like riding a dang roller coaster ... up up up and bam ! Straight down. Sketchy as hell. Even with my Jerry janked wood ramps still difficult.. Can't wait to see what happens on the unload?

Idk. Still learning all the quirks of this equipment stuff. It's like being a day 1 rookie all over again. If it wasn't for the blazing heat it wouldn't be so bad. Not much work down here . But I am still going at it so I guess it can't be that bad.

That a good idea. I wish I would've seen this before I dropped it at Ritchie bros.. Oh well I guess. He called me today and asked me to run 1 more truck for him.. Maybe I could talk him into a beer and dinner

I know that feeling way to well…my trailer is 9 foot wide so the ramps are even farther apart.
I made a aluminum center ramp for my last trailer. It hooked onto the trailer where the neck pinned on and was really great for narrrow stuff I wish I could find pics of it but I can’t. Was going to keep it but it probably wouldn’t have fit this trailer and the guy who bought mine really wanted that thing

As was said, you can never oversecure. I like it, it looks really.....professional. :) Nice job. I probably would have put a chain on the back pallet pulling forward, but that's me. :)
