Put a hidden starter switch in the new one and a gps tracker .

Read an article the other day that said prices at the auctions are starting to fall off .

i think even with that happening, one should still have all his ducks in a row, before buying his/her own truck.

if a recession hits us, and many say it's coming, high finance interest rates, will put those auctioned trucks, back up on the block.

the one and only W/S i ever drove, was an o/o rig, if i recall it was a 1986, and ran at 109 mph...

425 CAT, 15 sp, can't recall any other specs.

but it was a rough riding W/S, and had engine problems, 5th wheel problems, so basically a POS.

i have only "heard", that the W/S's are way better now, then they ever have been.

if i still had my CDL, i'd like to take one out for a cross country ride....not working, just a ride......gotta have fun in retirement.

I actually saw one up close in Harrisburg,PA a couple of days ago.
The sleeper roof is a Cascadia and it does uses Cascadia parts, although some components are unique to the Western Star models. The one I saw was in a nice shade of blue, and apparently you have a choice between an axle forward or axle back model.
