Not exactly sure what the issue is/could be. Just started driving 2 months ago. The ac on full blast with the blue light on (ac on, I'm assuming) will dwindle to nothing over a course of about 4 hours and when I turn the truck off and back on, it will work fine again for the next 4 hours or so until it dwindles to nothing again.

When I'm idling, it happens much faster and the outside temperature gauge will get pretty high (up to around 85°F so far) after 3 hours idling while the outdoor temp is only about 55.

When there's nearly nothing coming out of the vents, the tiny bit of air coming out is ice cold and I hear the fan blowing as hard as it cab, but no air coming into the truck. Again, shut down and restart completely fixes the issue. No engine codes or anything like that. I can't seem to find anything where people are having a similar issue as me, but I figured it is maybe because I am not describing correctly. I'm not completely sure.

So far, I've tried resetting the hvac door thing (the lights never started blinking, so im not sure what I did wrong there) and I checked the cabin air filter which looked brand new and no debris was stuck in it at all.

It sounds like the ac is freezing g up. Press the ac button until it's green not blue it will automatically adjust the temp. Also do not keeping on recirculation allow outside air to enter

Also check hvac vent tube under the hood to see if debris is stuck there . If moisture can’t drip away it freezes unit up .

Thermistor isn't working, it's not turning the AC off when it's cold enough, which causes the water on the evaporator to freeze over, which means no air can get through.

When u turn the truck off does is there a heap of water that comes rushing out near the evaporator and onto the ground?

Sitting in triple digit heat in Prescott AR yesterday for a 34 hour reset and had this happen in a 2019 Intl. LT. Ended up getting a room for the night.

The AC has run cold on the drive to Dallas this morning however.
