Thanks MisterG. I originally planned to start U.S. Truck Driving School today, but I needed a pre-employment letter first. Don't want to take on more debt without a job. Unfortunately, Werner won't hire me because I had a speeding ticket recently that was 15 miles over the speed limit (I was passing), and when I contacted others (they wouldn't call me...) they say I was disqualified (no reason given) or "there are others more qualified". So now if I want to do this I either have to wait until i have the money to pay for the school or find a company who will train me to get my class A license AND allow pets. But thanks for your positive thinking![]()

Pets on a truck will be too much trouble for most company drivers.
-
just wondering here...what did folks do with their pets prior to looking for a new driver job that will accomodate pets ?
-
Sorry, had to do it...... -
Pet owners need to be aware that even though carriers may allow pets many shippers /receivers won't allow them on the property .
Have any drivers with pets on the truck had to deal with this ? -
