I have a Bike Tight mounted to the deck behind my cab. Don't think that company is in business anymore but others make something similar. They're rock solid. Less chance of rubbing through a cable or tire than straps. Down side is that you have to take the front wheel off and secure it somewhere

I used to take front wheel off put forks in footwell and drape over passenger seat. Seatbelt hold it in place.
