Looking for an OTR company with guaranteed pay in Tampa area

I could be wrong , but most companies dont pay any detention if they cant collect it from the shipper or receiver. They look good on paper but rarely come through especially in reefer.
Talk to the actual drivers and see what actually happens.
At least two out of those three companies has a horrendous reputation of screwing drivers

 

That is correct. And one of those has "guaranteed" pay that requires a lot of hoops to be jumped through in order to qualify.

It's one of the reasons folks stay here forever... If they make their appointment time and are detained, they *will* get paid for it, whether the company gets paid or not. That's rare in reefer.
