    I would have settled for 20 mph wind. Winds here were 40-50 from the north. Trying to get some loads lined up but the deadhead on them is just to excessive. They aren't paying enough to just come back empty and they are longer loads... in the 200 mile one way range. Local loads, when they have them, pay much better than regional.

    I just did our IRP online, thanks for the idea. Got the mileages figured up last night, decided I'd try it and see how it worked. Seemed rather painless, plus I saved the $60 I would've paid Midwest Truckers to do it. Sweet.

    No problem. Basically you do all the work before you hand it to the tax preparers to put on forms.

    In Kansas you have until March 1 until they enforce IRP.
