Why would the fact of Russia being a big time urea importer have any impact on the supply of def for rest of us, or is that just a typo?

    Feedman and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I wouldn't know. But I do know that a near 30 year old motor isn't great on fuel. They're nice and all but not nearly perfect.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

That 1 or so mpg less my Cat gets sure does hurt when Im rolling down the road and all those newer emissions riddled engines are sitting on the side of the road broke down.

Got 360k on mine and the only emissions related issue it's had is the stupid level sensor that International used in their def tanks. I got a new one, but these days they're just cutting the leads, reprogramming, and telling people just to stay topped up. Really not that big a deal since one tank lasts 4 days.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Did you pay under 20k for it 10 years ago? See, its not JUST about it being old, its the fact that I can work on it outside of major in the engine work. Its that it simply keeps going, the cab and sleeper and the front half of the frame have over 2.5 million, my payment such as it is is all maintenance, tinkering to make me like it better. I could run balls to the wall and wear it and myself out in a few years, but its far from perfect and ive barely clocked 30k this year. Id earn more but pay more on a new vehicle, id also not have the ability to sit on my duff drinking beer and enjoying myself

    Rideandrepair and Elroythekid Thank this.
