It means the mechanic left his 10mm socket somewhere in the truck. Good luck finding it!
On a serious note, someone will be along to answer I'm sure.little cat 500, SmallPackage and tscottme Thank this. -
Do you think that mechanic did it knowingly
Thank you for reply -
Fan is most likely due to AC and isn’t a issue . You can scroll and find out what codes it’s most likely a emission code

It can be 100s of things. If you have a in dash computer, you can get the fault code off of that for more detail.
The fan light turns on when the fan clutch engages. It will do this when you have the AC on, but it should go off. If it is on all the time then that isnt normal either.High Stepper and Novza1 Thank this. -

Green fan light is no big deal it just means the engine fan is running. It’ll turn off when the engine fan kicks off. If you have a manual fan switch check to make sure you don’t have it engaged, or it won’t turn off. As for the engine with the wrench, that’s the tier above a regular check engine light, but below a red check engine light, where you’ll get prompted on your driver display screen to “Shut Truck Off and Seek Service Immediately”. Like others have said, take it to whatever shop you use, they’ll plug it in and scan the code.
Novza1 Thanks this. -
Did the mechanic change your fuel and water separator filters? I’m willing to guess maybe he pinched the o ring on the water separator and the truck isn’t building proper fuel pressure and it’s giving a light and some loss of power. Just a shot in the dark.
Novza1 Thanks this.
