    Hello All,

    Seeking some guidance.

Currently have a 1M policy on file and FMCSA shows required on file being 750,000 based on operations.
Underwriter sent email today say then will downgrade policy to 750000 unless FMCSA updates to reflect 1M required on file. This will effect operations as most broker require 1M.

I submitted request to FMCSA but got the following response. "We are unable to process your request at this time. The insurance requirements are cited in our regulations, we can only make a change to the required amount when there has been a change in your carrier operations."

QuestIon: Im assuming this requires a MCS-150 modification but what changes do I need to make so they can make the required filing to $1M.

I thought fmcsa would only allow public display of the minimum amount insurance required. Even if you have higher amount.
