Looks like that w900 crack problem that KW should have recalled and fixed 30 years ago may be in the spotlight during the Texas Hammer case.

The way a lot of them work it is no CDL needed "from first point of initial harvest to first point of initial processing if the vehicle engaged belongs to or is leased to or is under the direct and sole control of the owner of the crop"...in other words field to cannery or orchard to hulling plant on the farmer's truck.
    Common carriers need proper licensing.

Both the driver and the company are VSF!!

    Driver has no CDL
    Crack in the frame
Bald tires on both the tractor and the trailer
And I’m sure Texas DPS probably found more wrong with the truck!!

    Can somebody say nuclear verdict??

Not even selling the Cat engine out of that truck would even begin to cover the upcoming lawsuits.

The typed info in the screenshot on post #2 listed the lack of CDL as among the violations that DPS found. Apparently the driver was not in compliance on the licensing aspect of operating the CMV. Depends on the reliability of that info.

I can say for one thing.. that accident happened down the road from where I reside and I see those idiots driving up and down the road like a bat out of hell and it doesn’t shock me in the least that they found all these violations on that truck… It’s par for the course with those operators and those companies in that area

wow they weren't kidding about the bald tires. I'd be nervous to drive anytime it rained.
