I have a 1992 International Cabover with an N14 in it, tried several truck mechanics and all don’t have a plug to fit what’s on the truck from the ECM and say they haven’t seen the plug before, anyone know what to do about this

92 should be OBD II. A pic would help

A little small round plug? Go to the junk yark and get a 9 pin with 6 inches of the harness or so. Wire it in. Sorry I did not keep a diagram on how I wired it.

I can get a picture when I get home, it’s beside the ECM.
Are you talking about the one in the cab? The mechanics I went too acted like that was nothing they have ever seen too, but then again it wasn’t an international dealer. I can get a picture of the in cab datalink plug if I need too.

It’s a big plug, but was smaller than what they had with their computer, can’t remember how many pins it had. Had another plug that plugged into it also.

The one in the cab is the one I was talking about. I believe ours was a a 82 or 8300 and it had switches on the dash. You will have to find another way to mount yours.
It was pretty simple actually. Had to figure out which wires to hook up. Looked at things on line like 9 pin, N14 wiring etc.
Maybe only takes 4. Battery power. Power with key. Ground. Then one or two to ecm. You will be in business.

The on engine data connector is located between the fuel pump & the block.
Near the mounting flange. It's a 2 wire weatherpack
