Oh sure, but I'm willing to bet they were operating under a brokerage with operating authority, licensed and bonded.

I have a feeling these "Dispatch Services" are brokering freight and calling them selfs a dispatch service.

I have never requested ones info. Make me wonder about recorse for failure to pay frieght bill. And there may be some legit operations to. I just don't know.

They were brokers? Boy, those warehouses,cross docks and cartage trucks with their names and MC#’s plastered all over them sure had me fooled. I could have sworn they were trucking companies.

 

Jean-Guy, Jean-Marc and Jean-Paul all drive like loons. Its a French culture thing. Usually when you see a clown roaring a Jake backing into a parking space at 2100rpm, that truck will have a Quebec plate on it. That name is a new one on me though.

 

Thanks man. I appreciate the kind words. In my early days of trucking 12 years ago I was reckless and I didn't take being a CDL holder or being a professional driver seriously. Things change over time and after a near fatal accident in my Freightliner in 2012 I began to take things serious. I always drive defensively because there is so much at stake.

What this guy did yesterday was totally unacceptable and my biggest fear is that he is going to hurt someone.

 

Don’t be scared, that was the driver/trainer, and he had 3 more in there with him getting them up to speed. Ok, now be scared.

 

Haha I would put it past anyone today.
