Hmm.
Getting PM, i always change fuel filters at same time, which i am for 12k miles.
Dude is like, you can run that fuel filters, davco looks good.

I’m like, no, change it.

Dude is like, no one else does.

i’m like,I’m not everyone else, change it.

Now i’m wondering, even though i’m still set in changing oil/fuel filters together for 1.)more certainty.
2.)easier records of when it was PMed.

Does anyone besides big companies not do this?

Couple places in Burlington, NC, replaced Fuel Filter on a 2013 Freightshaker in '16 and neglected to Put the SPRING back in.
Owner wanted just the Spring from a Freighshaker dealer but had to buy the whole filter assembly.

I Began WATCHING every Oil, Oil Filters and Fuel Filter(s) replacements.

 

Cheap guys don’t change the Davco until the glass is full (the new way)

I’d just change it out per your mileage that you like to…(the old way)

Cat filters I just swap them out at 12k ish , oil and all filters at 25K

 

Anyone need some cheap fuel?
