Just Curious. I have over a million miles on my 2014 DD15 I put 800000 on it myself still never been overhauled. I don't burn oil at all. Change oil every 45000 miles with full synthetic and still have the DPF intact with the original one box.

Now that's not saying I haven't had a lot of repairs like everyone else I quite literally have replaced 70% of everything attached to the engine myself which has prevented down time. But the engine it self has been a beast

Just curious what other DD15 people have experienced?

That’s pretty good. Having the original one box is nothing short of a miracle. I assume you have replaced all the guts of that one box?

    Thank s
I haven't replaced them but I've cleaned them myself 3 times with high pressure hose. I talked to some mechanic friend of mine that work primarily on freightliner they said that box gets replaced way to often by mechanics that don't want to properly diagnose them. They said they've only had to replace the one box if there was damage from outside force I don't know.
But on the outside of the box I've had to change everything wiring harness nox sensors temperature sensors ect. But hopefully the DOC AND SCR keep holding up. But if they don't guess Iran money a head any way. Lol

No the oil pump cause I was told the Seals go bad but I never saw oil pressure problem I figured it was a good idea.

Most in Texas about 3500 miles a week usually weigh around 75,000 plus.
The first 200,000 miles I put on it was regional through the rocky mountains.
