Hey, I just glanced at the quote, and thought you were talking about my most recent load. The crane mats were indeed Jones!

hah yeah right. I can be empty running in FL. Right lane…..Right lane again……proceed to platform scale……wait for 3-4 min……. Driver pull around and bring in permit book. They want to see your KPRA

i understand they are doing their job. But geez it’s everytime

I'm just south of St. Pete on the gulf coast, & the last 3 times on i75 I've come home they stuck me on the platform for what felt like eternity..
    "Driva, bring in yer permit"
Permit? Permit for what..? Hustle inside..
    "Where's yer kingpin permit Driva?"
Since when does a 48' need a kingpin permit?
    "It doesn't. Yer good."
    No sheet sherlock..
Apparently a 229" wheelbase shaker & 48'er "looks long" lol

They're starting to become a real nuisance far as I'm concerned. Seems like all the FL coops are open 24/7, & I'm only getting the bypass lane ~25% of the time if that now..
