I have not used Mitchell 1 I have used a Snap-on scanner and it should list all the modules on the data-link. If the ABS module is not listed then it is not powered up not connected to the data-link or the module has failed. I don't know why you can see faults with the ABS unless Kenworth's body module stores them.

The ABS light is on because the Body Module or the Instrument panel is not seeing the ABS
ECU on the data-link. The ABS is not doing it's self test because there is a ABS fault or the
ABS ICU is not powering up or it has failed which is the least likely of the three. I suspect
there is a power supply problem to the ABS ICU. Your scanner will not see the ABS module if
it is not powering up. The ABS faults may be stored in the KW body module.
Where does Kenworth locate the ABS ICU? -

ABS ECM is located directly below center dash/cupholders. First thing I would check is ABS fuses. Last six of VIN and I can get wiring and fuse locations.

Was the problem ever fixed ? I’m having issues with a 2019 kenwoth 680 with bendix ec80 system. I have no communications with the abs just only the ecm. It’s also giving me radar fault codes on the bendix screen. Abs light does not stay on but traction control and stability control stay on I also checked all the fuses from under the hood and checked all the interior fuses by the driver side under the dash and also checked the rear ones under the bed and all fuses are good!
