A good friend of mine tried it for a season.
Never wanted to do it again. He is a Canadian based in Winnipeg, MB.
I trust his judgement a lot. He is a safety oriented professional.
With over 30 years in the business and many safety awards.
Take it for what it's worth.
Can anyone help me get ice road job. I currently live in Colorado

Odd thing I noticed over the long weekend was besides the pipeline there was literally not one road construction project going on in over 700 kilometers of Hwy 5/Hwy 16. Not even a big, fancy billboard sign announcing upcoming road improvements. Wondering if these large outfits are bidding these jobs assuming $3/L fuel? Or just saying to hell with bidding provincial government work and taking on private/municipal work instead?Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
