so i have a felony and misdemeanor on my record and im just trying to find good work. i have about 6 months of otr experience pulling reefers im located in Jacksonville FL , i have no restrictions on my license with a tank endorsement(no hazmat). im interested in getting into flatbed or tanker work obviously id need to be trained for that but at this point ill take any job. ive tried all the second chance companies and the megas wont even look my way. i started at Trans am but was terminated, recently ive been running for a owner operator friend. im looking for something southeast regional but im totally fine with otr especially if im pulling a flatbed or tank(beggers cant be choosers LOL). im former military(Marine Corps) 26 years old and ready to run! ive turned my life around from being homeless on the street to obtaining my cdl im just trying to find honest work. please any information would help thanks in advance.

Why not stay at the current place until you get a real offer at another company?

Your issue is the lack of experience. you're still in the territory of only self-insured companies, therefore the megas and second-chance folks, only. If you had another 6 months of experience, the world would open up to you. Since you don't, you'll need to take any possible thing that comes along and suffer through it. Only then will the world become your oyster.
