Well said. I try to educate non-trucking people about what we do. I am a very outgoing person so I can talk to anybody and I make myself approachable. When people ask me about the supply chain issues I try to make the answers relatable to their lives so they can better grasp the situation. Most of the time I have a positive experience when talking with people about what we do and how this country would be without us as professional drivers.

I appreciate every single person living here in our country. It doesn't matter what they're profession is. Everybody contributes some kind of way. Some sacrifices are greater than others true enough. I appreciate all of you on TTR. I appreciate those working at McDonald's because that means I don't have to prepare my own big mac. Lol on a serious note, I appreciate everyone, whether they appreciate me in return or not. The entire society has my gratitude.

Yeah, without the trucking industry....life in the USA would definitely suck--and quickly, too.

There are tons of professions that could shut down the country if they stopped working, so I'm not looking for any special thanks for doing mine. Even just the fuel haulers stopping would be enough...or the people running the warehouses or the retail, and so forth.

    Boondock Thanks this.

Well, fuel haulers are truckers. Almost everything about fuels is considered hazmat and requires a CDL. I agree if everybody stopped working the end result would be the same. What people are trying to say when they say without trucks America stops is if it is a consumer item in almost every case somewhere at some time something in that item was hauled in a truck. All aspects of the US economy are based on people doing their jobs.
