You can load that in a box no problem- just need to put them on skid mats and nail a couple 2 x 4s into the floor, strap forward and back 1/3 from the top of the cradle on each roll. Not too much difference between this and roll stock. Bit no skid mats and no bracing means never being able to touch your brakes. Gotta downshift and cost to a stop.

You know what to do with product/cargo like that. What is the percentage of drivers that don’t know what needs to be done, and pulled those loads and got very lucky nothing happened.

Yeah its ugly, I actually strap the tool cats all the time, pretty sure 12,000 lbs of wll on a 3000lb machine is more than enough for the tool cats, but skid steers get chains everytime, and considering I haul about twenty a week on trailers thats alot of chains

Just because it’s legal doesn’t mean it’s not stoopid.

I'm not one to harp on legality as a rule, and I would have chained it myself, because straps just don't look right on machinery. But as long as his straps are protected, that machine isn't going anywhere. He's got twice as much WLL as he needs. It's not a D6 tied down with rope behind a Dodge Cummins.

Just watched a flatbed tow truck load a sedan into a reefer trailer and the driver secure it by putting load bars on the bumpers.

That was an overachiever. Put it in park & close doors ( rookie immigrant or American ####### that’s never had inspection), put it in park with parking brake on ( 3-5 year rookie immigrant or American ####### ) put it in park, parking brake & load bars !!! ( million mile idiot coming for your lowboy & rgn freight any day ) sad,but true. In all reality only takes em about 6 months.
