There shouldn't have to be Safety Blitz's. They should be out stopping and inspecting every truck on the road 24/7/365. Every scalehouse should have hundred's of inspectors waiting for the next truck. And parking for the thousand's that are put out of service.
That 500 mile load should take at least 3 days to deliver. And cross country loads at least 14 days.

    It's all for SAFETY, right???????

They should be on the road looking for the junk they NEVER see cross a scale then do a company audit on the worst offenders they catch..

Then who would move all those containers. Lots of those guys around the ports are local and never see a coop, 10, 20, 30 miles then back to grab another. Lines of them will be doing 50mph on the turnpike....... probably because they're afraid to go any faster Lol.

Passing them I see some of them holding on to the wheel like their life depends on it. You can tell it's just a shaking

Is the container work considered 'the bottom of the barrel' in the trucking industry?
I did dry van and reefer only.
    Cross border, of course.

I kinda like safety blitzes. It seems to me after one of them is done, it seems a lot of the coops are closed for a week. I suppose they are worn out for awhile from a bit of work, and stay home. Or I am dreaming.
