Good evening folks, I was hoping to get a little information on admiral merchants. I had a gentleman who’s with them rant and rave to me about how I needed to come there…Blew it off, but I’ve been curious ever since. I like the idea of being able to pull off their internal load board, as well as any other nationwide load board…I’ve been in touch with a recruiter, and got a Link to their load board and it’s kind of unimpressive and unorganized. Either that or Mercers board has me spoiled lol….Anyone current pull at a admiral merchants? Or have in the recent past? I’d love a little driver feedback. Thanks in advance!

You may want to ask that recruiter how much of a referral bonus the guy stands to gain... might be why he was "ranting and raving" for you to switch.

Actually, before getting my own authority, I was leased onto them for almost 2 years. They were awesome and the people couldnt treat you any better!!! I still pull loads for a few of their agents, about once a month. You have to have your own truck/trailer they have no equipment. You can pull loads from anywhere(as long as broker/shipper meets credit requirements) and to top it all off the best thing is you ARE NOT allowed to pull load for TQL due to moral standards that are set!!!!:D

Nice! Thanks for the feedback bro. I did see that they had no equipment, but the recruiter I’m speaking with said they have a rental program for trailers. Not sure how that works as the trailer guy hadn’t called me yet. Have you heard anything about this? You made pretty good money there? I’m assuming you ran a step deck?

No I ran RGN, I dont know anything about trailer rental. All it may be is an agent or somebody willing to rent you one or something.

On your other post, youre right about the load board(the layout of it), its just bare bones minimum info on there for the most part. However I can say that in almost 2 years there I may have done at the very most 10 loads off the load board. Most times I ran for a few agents and they knew where I was gonna be or ran broker freight.
