I’d imagine every company wants to know your eta. What’s the big deal? Do you have to tell them every day or something?

I'm going to be upset if I start losing loads to drivers that can't be bothered to run what the load requires. Once in awhile I don't mind something that only requires 400mi or less a day, but in general I prefer 5-600. My last company wanted eta/pta when leaving shipper then eta like 3 times a day, though we had lot more drop and hook with wide open appts so was supposedly more to help plan next load.Gearjammin' Penguin, Lonesome and jethro712 Thank this. -

What they say about no freight in Florida must be true. Me and another Shaffer driver will be going on 2+ days sitting after we delivered our loads.
I finally got a preplan but it won't pick up till the next day and is all the way in Georgia.drvrtech77 and Bumper Thank this. -
