    Sorry if my english spelling isn’t the best..

    i have a few questions I currently live in miami florida
    9 months experience currently left schneider for better options as in to pay and not get tax soo much

    I have this lease to program and i was wondering u think is a good idea to do it or not i have to 3 options
    This a dry van lease option volvo vnl 760 2021 2 weeks walk away no contract
    Weekly charges
    $ 1300 Truck
    $ FUEL
    $ 40 Occupational insurance
    $ 35 IFTA
    $ 150 ELD
    $ TOLLS
    $ Escrow

    Payment and opportunities:
    Average gross revenue $8,000 - $12,000 ( STRONG SOLO)
    Average gross revenue $8,000 - $18,000 (GOOD TEAM)
    Pay: ~ $2.500 per week or more
    Referral bonuses, clean inspection bonuses. Lease to purchase opportunities.

    Second option is bobtail power only lease vnl 860 2019 same to 2 weeks notice walk away
    Amazon, schneider, jb hunt, ups power only
    Lease Solo

    Company charge 15%

    Insurance - $450/week

    IFTA - $35/week

    Administration Fee - $100/week

    Truck - $950/week (from Monday to Friday)+ 0.15/mile

    $3,000 security escrow for truck will be collected $250-500 from every paycheck.

    0.15 $ It will cover

    *All PM service

    *Truck broke down if it is not driver`s fault

    *Usual tire replacement due to wear and tear

    3 option is a flatbed position at a company
    No lease just driver company
    Supposedly they are making from 9k-12k weekly on gross
    I will get 25% of gross weekly 3 weeks out 1 week home

    i just want you guys to advice me which one is better currently in debt of 30k 25 year old want to pay my debt as soon as possible.. please guys advice me which one is better for me now with gas prices how the market is i would be looking forward to your responses thanks

    Have you considered staying a company driver, with a company other than Schneider?

    The 3rd option is the better option. You can just drive and focus on paying off your debt. You don't have to be concerned about truck payments etc. Don't push yourself so hard just plan and balance your life. All the best to you.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

    Three weeks on and one week off is the one to choose . And the fuel prices , tires , payment , maintenance and repairs etc , are all someone else’s problem

    you didn’t mention it but the third option should also be a paid on a W-2

    which will be better since the company is also or should be , paying half of the social security tax and possibly offering benifits like paid vacation and health insurance subsidy.

    Forgot to mention leasing options the company pay for the maintenance and everything whats so ever.. only thing i pay is for wear and tear of tires when they go low thats about it all options pay 1099 which is a good thing for me tbh i know my way around taxes
    All day i been looking at the 3 option flat bed is paying better but whole lot responsibility and work i like to get loaded and go with flat bed you secure everything and your responsibility for it to be secure and rhat is making me go for option number 1 dry van lease even if i make 2k a week after all fees deductions i should be good for now
