I once talked to the CEO of a major flatbed company, who told me after all his expenses, his trucks generated a profit of .03/mile.
If he can do it I can too!!
Granted he has probably 1000+ trucks at 100k mile/year, each still 3 million/ year profit.
Gotta look at the big picture not the little one. -
Spot market can run from $1 a mile to $20 a mile. Dollar per mile does not do anything for me as I want to make a certain amount per month and that is all that matters to me. I know what I need to make on a run to be profitable if it gets down to that point.JoeyJunk Thanks this.
