Some miscommunication happened at my pu but resolved without issue.
Showed up for a preload only to be told load was already picked up the previous day. Quick talk with clerk and found said trailer still on their yard.
Turns out a driver signed for it but decided not to take it for whatever reason without letting them know.
If driver picked up the load then that would of been a good 40 hours till deliver on just a 350 mile run.
Currently just 20 miles from this cosco and hoping it will go fast. Appt not till 8am but reviews all say its a first come first served place and they start processing reefer loads at 430am.
Next load another short run. Heading to a farm for a live tomorrow, then headed back to Ohio for 540 miles.
Getting close to my vacation trip so will soon be free from this for a week.

Seems there's now a major incentive to cut down on DH miles rather than focus on getting drivers their miles! Getting more and more dysfunctional by the day... praise SSB as he may lead the way for othersO.Henry, nredfor88, drvrtech77 and 3 others Thank this. -
I haven't noticed any stop in miles, got a few longer runs as well this month. One from CA to NJ. I've stayed out a few extra days to be home for a wedding, but got almost 12k miles since leaving the house on the 6th, and I helped at N Platte for around 10 days. It's been a good month.
newbietrucker91 Thanks this. -

I'm stuck in the NE at the moment. Last few runs have been same day runs running out to IN/OH with a load heading right back to NJ.
Decent daily miles averaging 400/day but I've seen enough of the NE...I want the west again lol.nredfor88 and TruckerLlew Thank this. -
