New 2023 T680, coax is RG 59, when checking swr with inline meter is it required to also have jumper coax RG 59 ? When checking power with meter, the needle on radio moves to red/ green point on meter, however when radio only is hooked to antenna coax, needle only moves about halfway when I key mic, any thoughts, also the lowest swr I can achieve is 2.2 , checked mount assembly, scratched off powder coating underneath plates ( like on previous T680) installed 4' firesticks, guess that is the best I'm going to get.
Jumper coax

Two antennas?
You should have 58 coax running to a splitter with two 59 coax to each antenna.
but the best solution Is to get rid of the two and go with a single antenna, -

Just having fun Wolverine, how about you?
So … got the picture … just tired from all the fun.
You can use a 58 jumper at the end of the coax, it should be 50 ohs at that point. -

Don't know why I'm concerned, it's a stock Uniden PC78 ltx and have made contacts from Zephyrhills FL ( home terminal) to Plant city FL, about 12 to 15 miles, so it's working. Long story short, was on medical leave for 4 months, flew to Iowa to get new truck, stopped at first truck stop, and that is radio I bought, was just going to use it back to Florida, but have kept it incline.
