Nice work!

Try this for the dangly light. Take a piece of duct tape about 4 inches long. Fold it in half so both sticky sides are together. Then wrap the tape around the back of the light and stick it back in the gasket.. Gives it just enough material to add on to the back of the light to make it a snug fit in the gasket and not fall out anymore.. Can take a knife and trim the excess if need to.

 

Man you did an excellent job getting it in that bin with all those obstacles working against you. Where was this at?

 

Tried it, not enough gasket material left. Had the beacon wash my trailer and they had left the acid on by mistake and its eaten pretty much every single rubber gasket and bungee on my trailer at this point.

Thank ya, i got lucky i have a shorter then average truck. Took me 3 tries to get am angle tight enough i could wiggle in and i still had to dump at a 40 degree angle. And its up here in KC so bleah. Im taking my 34 at oak grove today.

 

Love the Maligators! I had two before the Dutch, Both were retired Bomb dogs, one from Afghanistan and one from Iraq. Jimy was 5.5 years in Afghanistan and Terry was the same in Iraq. Jimy died earlier this year from osteosarcoma, we fought hard to beat it but I failed. He was mu best friend and we were made for each other. Terry was a beautiful Mal, loved me and wanted to be with me, but would not ride in the truck or anything else. I had a former military/handler trainer come by to help me figure out why he wouldn't ride. It didn't end well for the trainer, Terry took him down and bit him 5 times. The last bit was to the bone on his leg and required a very long time to recover from. The center where Terry came from required me to take him back. The ONLY reason I did was because he wouldn't ride, nothing to do with the biting issue. I suspect he was in a vehicle that was involved in an explosion or close to one. I REALLY want him to stay but the contract is what it is. Jimy

I see. Yea situations like that are always a treat. I’ve been in some pretty tight bins at House of Rocks in KC, this was giving me flashbacks of that.

my male I lost earlier this year had two litters, we got several police dogs, and 4 working for Customs and Border Protection and more working in sport. He absolutely loved to ride with me I miss him every trip.

 

My uncle started House of Rocks and my dad was the general manager there for all of my child hood. I grew up playing on the gravel piles and watching your former and current company dump gravel and small boulders there. There’s been more then one trailer end up on its side before they started to put concrete floors in the bins. One landed right on a newer f-550 dump truck. That was the result of a frozen load of boulders stuck in the nose.

I graduated from playing in the rocks to stacking rocks on pallets (for 8 bucks a ton) and running the old beam scale on Saturday’s. Then I started riding in the dump trucks and their one straight truck flatbed. The lady that drove the flatbed had a bum ankle and had a hard time climbing up on the forklift to get it off the back of the truck. So at 9 or 10 years old she showed me how to get it off the truck. That led to unloading the truck occasionally.

Good old child labor. I wouldn’t change a thing.

 

Really! Wow what a small world. I know many a bumper has met their demise there. I remember hearing about a trailer landing on a pickup over there I think that was the doings of my former company if I remember correctly.
