Since my Quickie run to Joliet, went to Jefferson WI picked up dog food going to Crete NE (still hate that place) then over to Lincoln NE for load to Hoschton GA, then back through Atlanta (traffic is back to sucking) to Chatsworth GA on my way to Sullivan MO and Shell Rock IA which should be done Thursday afternoon. Then, I bet I get a Fort Dodge dog food load back to the aforementioned place I hate.

I totally understand you being upset and wanting to quit, but come on man! you just admitted yourself it was totally your fault. So how does that make us an embarrassing company to drive for now?!! Everything you said about being respected by our peers and shippers is still true, that didn't change just because of what happened to you . I'm sorry to hear about all this brother, I would be pissed too. But let's be realistic about this, This didn't just suddenly become a bad company , and if it wasn't for This one incident I'm sure you would still be planning on staying here . Everyone has a right to blow steam , But saying this is now suddenly an embarrassing company to drive for just makes the rest of us look bad. When I did food service before I came here we had the stupid driver facing cameras after McLane bought us. I hated them as well, And they were very anal about them. I put up with it a few more years, but yes it did take all the fun out of the job that's for sure!..

Who cares about the trailer? I have seen REALLY dumb #### done by people dragging every kind of trailer you can think of. As far as not getting respect, the only time I have heard anything bad about FCC, a driver had just left a place before I got there, and apparently had a bad enough attitude that the shipping folks commented to me about it.

I couldn't agree more! I don't really understand the bad reputation drive vans have gotten over the years. I guess swifty screwed that up for us lol. But you're right plenty of idiots out here pulling all types of crap.... As far as I'm concerned after 2 years of being here this is still the best trucking company I've been a part of, And I'm not even a company driver anymore. That should speak volumes right there alone considering how most lease purchases work out. Are there days I get pissed off at something here, sure! But hell, that's anywhere you go. As always, the way I see it 99% of this gig is your attitude, mindset and what you make of the situations

I agree but apparently at headquarters yesterday I chose to hit the self destruct button and not take my lumps and move forward. I have a clean driving record no tickets psp points .but I probably destroyed my work record straight in the trash can I'd probably be very lucky if swift would hire me...not that I would work there. Anyway have a good day a be safe
