So just had my belly spring break and am now stuck at a hole in the wall spot.
I only got here by spite and two rolls of electrical tape

What’s the dot approved method of fixing this? Compression fitting? (For a one inch line?)

I also recently switched companies so this is extra fun dealing with their road service department.

(spring broke air line hit the ground big ### hole in air line)

    What's a belly spring?

Synflex, rubber or braided air line?

7/8 piece of pipe cut 4 inches and 4 hose clamps to limp to greener pastures.
    Good Luck

He is probably talking about the air lines in front of a sliding tandum trailer suspension. I have never heard of it referred to that way as well.

I have used this on an air line and it didn't leak. Got me to a shop.

Yeah I thought of that but I actually found a barb fitting at the local tractor supply.

I don’t think it’s dot legal tho lol. There’s got to be something out there tho?

Hydrualic line style compression fitting maybe??

If you want to be legal on a splice, get a DOT fitting from someplace like NAPA truck parts dealer or a Parker Hannifin hydraulic store, they both have them.
