I am interested in investing in or help expand a small trucking business in Alberta and grow organically. Looking for a genuine partnership with the intention to grow the company and possibly sell it off in 3-5 years or scale it further if all parties agree. Where would be a good place to start to find what trucking businesses need to scale but need some capital? Need to see a good track record of a business operating for at least 2-3 years. It can be 1 truck or a couple and I am not particular about what type of trucking it is as long as it is profitable or have very good potential to be. Please reach out to me - currently living in Houston but moving to Alberta in a few months.

just saying if you expect it to be profitable without driving and only 1-5 trucks and two partners ... good luck
You will need atleast 15 trucks - and the market right now is headed towards a recession

In my humble opinion the successful business has 25 to 45 trucks, doing a wide variety of work, so if something happens to a market, others are still busy. The company is large enough to have good purchasing power, and take on multiple truck contracts, but not so big that the owners lose sight of what is really going on, and the crappy employees can hide.

You have a better chance of having a profitable business in the US…. I left Alberta 3 years ago because the ability to make money quickly ( 2-6 years ) was toooough.

I’ve have nearly 40x revenue since coming down to the US from AB.

I'd buy Dogecoin before I invested in a small trucking company in Alberta.

    This ^^^

Alberta is much too up and down.
When its booming fine, but then years of little work.
The only business I would own in Alberta is a bankruptcy agency.
