I’m so appreciative of what I saw on my pay voucher yesterday. We get .10cpm Northeast pay for all the miles run in the Northeast, including all of PA. To my surprise, it was bumped to .12cpm. Now understand, that’s not for the whole paid trip, just the miles run north of the VA line. So last week, on my Front Royal Va load to Cleveland, it came to 206 miles of Northeast pay. That’s an extra $24.72. If we break the numbers down farther, with the new raise, it added $4.12 to my check. Now, some would say great. Me? Please, since January 1st, I’ve run a total of 896 miles in the Northeast. For a whopping $93.72. Rumor has it there instituting a sliding pay scale for miles on loads. Something tells me I’ll be getting screwed on that deal.

I believe that Knight came up short of earnings estimates so watch out. I’m sure they’re scheming something to get those numbers up and the driver will probably pay for it

I40 is a rough ride in a bobtail….hit a bridge transition where the pavement crumbled and there was a lip and the arse end of my truck lifted up off the ground about four inches and my tv bounced off the top bunk and landed up right on the floor. Hopefully still works, lol! Convention load got pushed out two hours which 0200 is better than 0000 being I normally like to start my days at 0200-0300.
JoeyJunk Thanks this.
