How much do one of them big bales weigh? As a kid, I worked on my uncle’s farm and handled a lotta lotta hay but they were the “normal” size bales. How do they load/unload them?

Thanks, I’ve seen the big spike for the round bales but not sure if I seen one of them

 

1,250 lbs. 45k, and 36 bales.

They loaded them with spikes and a telehandler. The farmer unloaded them with this: hopefully you can see it in the dark. It's just a tractor bucket, but with curved spikes that he closes on the hay, and they dig in.

I think we have had our fun- gonna see about passing this pumpkin on to a new owner. I do appreciate the time we have had and the joy it has brang to many.

 

They work great for pulling mesquites also
