    Hi all,

We're working on a 1978 Transtar II cabover truck and need to replace the low air warning switch but can't seem to find it.
--> Does anyone know where this switch is located?

I recall on my old 9670 that switch was under a plate on the floor near the driver seat .

Look in the side box on the drivers side. That's where it was in my 1977

Interesting if I remember correctly, mine was on the firewall behind the clutch pedal.

One night my low air warning went off , gauges said there wasn't a problem. I got to looking around and found a jack handle had fallen against it and was laying across the terminals causing the warning to go off. I had the 1977 eagle , loved that truck. Same exact truck that is in my profile pic.

bzinger and IH Truck Guy Thank this.

That's exactly where it was - thank you for the suggestion!
(The switch was in the left back corner behind that cargo door.)

Why they put it there is beyond me.
