Putting CAT into T700 KW. Need Harness, please help

    Guys, I'm putting C-12 CAT Motor into my T700 KW, Taking Paccar out of it. Now, I'm looking to get a harness, need a VIN# for any post 2010 KW with CAT in it to trace it with dealer. Kustom trucks need 3 weeks to make one for me. need to get it quicker. Anyone has the VIN# or knows anyone with harness? Greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Good luck. Cat ceased on road engines in 2010.

    Basically, Need a CAB side wiring diagram for T700 Kenworth. to be able to narrow pin locations bypassing the "OnBoard communication Module" in the truck and which pin is which.

    These guys make custom harnsses just for this kinda swap. It was $1200 for a C15 to 579 harness. They also sell mounts, adapters and literally everything else you will need. Full swap kit sans engine was $8500 for a C15 into my 579. Not sure what a C12 into a t700 would run though

    Yep. Besides, the C12 was done in trucks a few years prior to that I believe.

    I’d try looking for a used one calling some truck junkyards like Kerns in Atlanta or what’s the big one in Iowa or somewhere like that ?.
