So just to update this. Oct. 26 was my court date. I did hire one of those ticket clinic places that sent a lawyer and they did their thing. The outcome was that the court withheld adjudication. No points were assessed and no conviction will appear on your record. I had to pay court fines and do a 4 hour online driving course which I've all done.
Do I need to let my company know the outcome? This happened two days before I was hired with my current company and I asked the recruiter multiple times if this was going to be an issue and he assured me it wasnt........even If they found me guilty he said they allowed one major ticket.......but thats a recruiter....lol What do ya'll think? Keep it myself or let someone know? Whoever that would be.
Career Ending Ticket?

Employer Notifications
Within 30 days of a conviction for any traffic violation, except parking violations, a driver must notify his/her employer, regardless of the nature of the violation or the type of vehicle which was driven at the time.
A CMV driver must notify his employer if the driver's license is suspended, revoked, canceled, or if he/she is disqualified from driving. The notification must be made by the end of the next business day following receipt of the notice of the suspension, revocation, cancellation, lost privilege or disqualification.
Employers may not knowingly use a driver who has more than one license or whose license is suspended, revoked or canceled, or is disqualified from driving. Violation of this requirement may result in civil or criminal penalties.
If no conviction no need to disclose.gentleroger and JrzyDave Thank this. -

This taught me something. Good thread and I like how you updated us with a conclusion. I usually just suck up to the trooper and pledge my loyalty to the blue line gang lol . They usually let me go or they reduce it for me right there.
Chieftains Thanks this. -
