What is going on in these areas? I have made a week long trip to this area about every other month or so for the last 9 years so I am familiar with the area but it seems like something popped in the past month or two. It has always been crazy but not like this. There is a huge lot on the north side of I-20 in town that has hundreds of vehicles. Are people parking there and taking busses to work somewhere or something?
Every man camp is booked up for the remainder of the year. We have called around to several and they don't have any availabilities. What is weird is the normal stops that are crowded like the gas stations and restaurants don't seem that busy.

I'm just guessing off the top of my head, but I reckon that upstream is gearing up to meet the increased export demand from Europe resulting from the Russia / Ukraine conflict, combined with the prospect of a more hydrocarbon-friendly Congress being sworn in come January.
