Most unproductive load I've been sent in awhile. Current load delivers 8pm on the 15th. Preplan sent is a 8am pu in North Seattle on the 16th with a 8am delivery just 250 miles away for the 17th.

Turned it down as unproductive but who knows if they will remove it or not since I haven't heard back. If they can't get me something that picks up in the middle of the night then I wonder how far I'll have to deadhead out of the area before I can find parking.

I’ve been getting crap loads lately.
It seems to be slowing down.
    Normally picks up for Holidays.

You are close enough to pick up an apple or cherry load out of Selah

Short load they want me to do is a wine run and both pu and del run off banker hours. Delivery is in Kennewick area so most likely if I do the run they would have me pu at the frozen goods warehouse in Richland. Hoping night can change the load or when morning gets in, they change it cause finding parking in Seattle so late at night will be near impossible unless I stealth park on the street in the industrial area.

Sucks to stealth park in Seattle. Not much of that at all. I know of a spot around 405/167 and another down by Auburn. It’s almost better to drive out 90 and find a ramp spot out of the city, but then you have traffic in the morning and a far drive.

Edit: I meant to say Auburn.

Rather than remove load they hit me with a second preplan with miles. Do the short run and a 2000+ mile run awaits after.

It's an onion run all the way back to Houston.

Sounds like a major win. Much easier finding parking in central WA or wherever the onions are.

My year almost up in January, if I wasn't getting married in April, I would leave Shaffer. Their trucks suck, have spent over a month waiting on repairs and trying to get breakdown pay is futile. Am 500 miles over their minimum when was told I could easily 11k a month by recruiting, NOW they want me do Walmart at Cheyenne to bump miles, no thanks. If I wasn't in shop all the time, once could have made bonus but never close to other times. Was out all October for 9400 miles. Asked to switch to Crete and they said no.

End of April looking to do tanker out of Pacific northwest. Any good companies out there?

    JoeyJunk and Chinatown Thank this.

Still have to find a place to park after current run. Don't know if they will tell me to move but shipper is located on a 2 lane road with a middle turn lane for all the businesses so thinking of just parking outside the gate on this middle lane till morning.

Onion load going to be heavy since it's the type where you scale empty onsite then they load you as close to max as possible and weigh you going out.

It's easy to switch from Crete to Shaffer but there is no way to go Shaffer to Crete without quitting and then re-applying under Crete.

As for tanker let's ask @Chinatown
