For team driving do you need a double bunk? Or can they sleep in each other bed while one is driving. Im new to teams. I run 2 unit fleet and are wanting team drivers.

Wasn't there a rule about being in the top bunk while moving?

I've been on teams in both types of bunks. I can't say I disliked either. In the single bunk, we both had our own sleeping bags that were rolled up when not in use. In the double bunk, I still slept on the lower bunk while moving but in my own sleeping bag. When stopped for a day or two is when the double bunk comes in handy BUT that's a double edge sword because in the single bunk, we got hotel rooms during a layover.

One driver is taking his 10 hr. sleep break and the other driver is taking a mandatory break, so need two bunks.tscottme, GoneButNotForgotten and ducnut Thank this.
