Need some ideas on wet weather winter gloves. I’m good on the dock as I run heated glove liners, and have a good pair of insulated gloves for dry cold weather. My issue is hooking and breaking sets in the slop. What do the fuel guys or the rig workers use?

It's hard to get a really good pair of gloves that function and fit the way you want them to. I've tried all different kinds.
Seems like the main thing is to have at least 2 maybe three pairs on hand at all times so you can switch em out when they get wet.

I use a good pair of leather gloves with the brown cloth gloves as inserts
I also seal my leather gloves

I use full grain leather gloves, always have several pairs. Once a pair gets too wet for comfort I through the on the dash or floor under the heat vents to dry out and switch to the next pair.

Insulated waterproof palm made for work
Also not overpriced, will need two pairs or a glove dryer overnight

Those Holmes leather gloves from Costco are actually pretty good. The don't turn your hands yellow like most yellow leather pairs

I have the first two. I like the red barons because of the wide cuff. I found a pair of insulated double dipped wet weather gloves that worked good in the slop this morning. Crappy thing is they will tear on the rusty crank handles, but I’ll run with these for now. Thanks guys.
