Hello everybody, this forum was always helpfull in my last post. People here got really nice information on trucks. I came up here with my next problem for which i am really tired of. From last 4months i am seeing trailer AbS light on and due to that my truck’s dashboard screen Doesnt shows anything else just displays Trailer ABS. My trailer is in good shape but little old like 2014 model dry van product of Vanguard but everything seems to be fine in trailer like tires are in good shape, hub seals are good. Please can anybody let me know solution for this thing. I am posting a picture of my truck’s dashboard screen so you can get idea of what problem i am facing everyday. It doesnt changes to anything else while driving. Please let me know if anybody knows solution for this thing. I do really appreciate for taking me out of the last problems i had. This forum has been really helpful to me. Huge respect to the Admin of this forum. Thank you.

1st would be to have the trailer abs checked.. shop plug into the trailer to read the code..
#1 Could be a bad sensor or a bad module...
#2 could also be a bad plug on the trailer or pigtailxlsdraw and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Your truck may have the code in the dash to give you an idea of where to start looking. I had a ScanGauge that captured the code while I was driving so I knew which wheel end to look at.
Happened twice over a few years. Both times for me it was chaffed or corroded wires to the wheel end sensors.xlsdraw and Rideandrepair Thank this. -

Your abs is a pretty simple system for the most part but the condition of your tires etc have nothing to do with it
Is the yellow light on the driver side rear of the trailer on?
A few simple checks.
Check that light.
Check your plug connections. Both at the trailer and the truck sides.
Sometimes the male and female ends get loose or corroded
If loose. Carefully speed the split prong. Not too much it will break
If corroded then clean them uo -
I've got the trailer abs light on the trailer and on the dash also. Going to try to get the Boss Shop in Carlisle behind the J to check it tomorrow morning. I need to do a 34 anyway. May as well get that fixed.

I’d still do a quick check on the plug
Any time I’ve had abs lights it was always the plug. They take a lot of pulling and can wear out or loosen -
