I must not be wired right, I've had Vito & Nick's multiple times, I'd take the pizza at a J over that crap any day of the week. Haven't had Nino's in years but it was always really good (are they the ones with the wagon wheel? I remember getting sent somewhere to pick that up once, had to take the company pick up). On the other hand, thin crust is okay but not my first pick. Geno's East downtown sausage patty for deep dish.

The best pizza I ever remember having my neighbor makes. She used to manage a local pizza hut and knows how to make them. Her pizzas are fresh and taste BETTER than any pizza place can ever match. She has taught Keri how to make them too. I have to be fair with regard to the hook pizza, at least before Pilot bought them. I enjoyed them. The hook outside Kansas City buys them and puts them in an oven. They are what you would expect a store-bought pizza to taste like.

That’s quite a fetish to crave a truck stop pizza. I’m not judging though. Just don’t see line of people having other choices queuing to get some.

In my opinion, when that pizza is fresh, it is tough to beat. These days a while pie is like 13 or 14 bucks I think. That chicken bacon ranch is pretty good.

I think it costs about $6 for 2 slices.

Hit or miss. The QT’s around southwest FL have absolute crap for pizza. Even their sandwiches are “meh”. Heck! Most of their employees are “meh”. But, the QT’s throughout Missouri are at another level, in every way. I don’t know what the difference is, between them, other than location.

Exactly. Weird tasting good and nasty.

Why I got the itch for that weird rubber pretzely taste. Been a few years.

Better than the local chains like bearnos or boom bozz we got around here in Louisville.

Driven my mega TS greed. At least they could offer decent pizza for that price instead the garbage to which they assign the same name.
