DataQ and fighting a ticket, can I get it removed?

    Hey guys can a driver dataQ a violation? I got popped for speeding. 70 in 55mph. Going down 58k pound overweight container. Iowa DOT. Gave me a warning then he gives me a ticket after I asked him too. So I have a court date now. If I can get it lowered or dismissed can I dataQ level 3 speeding violation? Or was asking for a ticket a foolish thing?
